How lien treatment works →Minimally Invasive Treatments, Performed by Dr. Gallagher
Every treatment targets the source of your pain, not just the symptoms. Dr. Gallagher reviews your imaging, explains your options and performs your procedure herself at an outpatient surgery center, using image guidance for precision.

Epidural Steroid Injections
Anti-inflammatory medication placed near irritated spinal nerves to calm pain from herniated discs, sciatica and stenosis.
Joint and Facet Injections
Targeted relief for arthritic spine joints, knees, hips and shoulders so you can move comfortably again.
Nerve Blocks
Medication placed around specific nerves to interrupt pain signals and pinpoint exactly where your pain starts.
Radiofrequency Ablation
Gentle heat quiets the small nerves that carry chronic neck, back or knee pain, for longer lasting relief.
Trigger Point Injections
Quick outpatient injections that release tight, painful knots in muscles after strain or injury.
Spinal Cord Stimulation
A small device that interrupts pain signals, for chronic pain that has not improved with other care.
Conditions and Treatment FAQs
What to know before your first visit.
When should I see a pain management specialist?
Consider seeing a specialist if pain has lasted more than a few weeks, keeps coming back, spreads into your arms or legs, or has not improved with rest, medication or physical therapy. It is also worth being seen soon after a car accident, even if the pain seems mild at first.
Will I need surgery?
Many neck, back, joint and nerve problems improve with minimally invasive treatments such as injections, nerve blocks or radiofrequency ablation. If your condition needs a surgical opinion, Dr. Gallagher will tell you and explain your options.
How do you decide which treatment is right for me?
Dr. Gallagher starts with a full evaluation, reviews your imaging and history, and pinpoints where your pain is coming from. Sometimes a diagnostic nerve block is used to confirm the source before recommending longer lasting treatment.
Do you treat children and teens?
Yes. Dr. Gallagher treats patients ages 2 and up, including young athletes with sports injuries. A parent or legal guardian attends each visit.
What happens at my first visit?
You meet with Dr. Gallagher for an exam and a conversation about your pain, then leave with a plan made for you. Bring a photo ID, your insurance card, a list of medications and any imaging. You can complete the new patient forms ahead of time.
Not Sure Which Treatment Fits?
